The Blue Cash Everyday is one of those cards that quietly does a great job without demanding too much from you. It has no annual fee, and you still get 3% cash back at U.S. supermarkets (up to $6,000 per year), at U.S. gas stations, and on U.S. online retail purchases. That’s a pretty broad mix of useful everyday categories for most people.
What I like about this card is that it’s genuinely easy to understand. You don’t have to overthink where you’re swiping or juggle rotating categories. The rewards are automatic, and the 3% cashback can really add up if you do most of your grocery shopping or driving in the U.S. That said, it’s not a great travel card and it charges foreign transaction fees, so this is very much a domestic spending card in my view.
It also offers a few Amex-style perks like a 0% intro APR period and access to Plan It (Amex’s payment plan option), which can help if you’re planning a larger purchase and want to spread it out. Overall, this is a great no-fee card if you’re looking to earn solid rewards in everyday life without the extra bells and whistles.
