Snapshot Summary
This card gets you 5% cash back on gas at Costco, and then 3% cash back on restaurants, 2% on all purchases from Costco.com, and 1% back on everything else — all for $0 annual fee. Perfect if you frequent Costco.
The Full Picture

The Costco Anywhere Visa is a great value card if you’re already a Costco member and shop there regularly. It gives you 4% cash back on gas and EV charging (on up to $7,000 per year), 3% back at restaurants and on eligible travel, 2% on Costco purchases, and 1% back on everything else. That’s a pretty generous spread for a no-annual-fee card, especially if you do a lot of driving or dining out.

What makes this card a bit less appealing for some people is that you do need a Costco membership to apply, and your rewards are paid out just once a year as a certificate that you redeem in-store. That’s not quite as flexible as other cashback cards that let you redeem throughout the year or deposit straight to your bank.

Still, if you’re already a Costco member and spend a good chunk of money on gas or dining, this is a solid card that quietly delivers real value without any fees to worry about. Just know it’s probably not worth getting unless you’re already shopping at Costco consistently.
